This week we are learning about multiplication and equal sharing in Maths. We have had fun working out all sorts of problems like this one.
There is a family of 2 legged caterpillars. All of the caterpillars only have 2 legs. How many legs would there be altogether if there were 2 caterpillars in the family?...What about 3 caterpillars?...What about 4 caterpillars?
Here we are doing some independent activities out of the green Maths box:

Thursday's oral language focus is "Something I Have Made Or Written".
Jacob told us all about this fantastic model of the Sky Tower that he made. Wow! It's great and looks just like the real one!

We made pizzas today because our letter of the week is 'p'. We are also talking about fractions in our Maths learning. We cut the pizzas into 1/2s, then 1/4s, then 1/8ths. We loved making them and we especially loved eating them, yum!

We have been investigating repeating patterns in our Maths learning.
We made headbands and used repeating shape and colour patterns.
Here we are combining three things we love...Maths, singing and dancing.
